Ellen
Lesley Woodturning Designs started designing pens four
years ago and became registered as a business in February 2009.
The main designer, Ellen Charlesworth, resides on Phillip Island.
Ellen uses Australian
indigenous timbers that will last a lifetime. The high quality
timber is turned into pen sleeves, coated and treated for durability,
with added fittings in either solid 18ct yellow/white gold, or
sterling silver.
There are also a variety of coloured acrylics used as an option
on the sleeves instead of timber. In 2011, Ellen will be introducing
powder-coated brass fittings in red, black, white, purple, pink
or blue.
Beautifully engraved
boxes are available upon request with first and surname engraved
in black on the front.
Also available are pen kits for the woodturner to assemble and
these are the same as the fully assembled pens that are detailed
above.
There are many options
available for the pens, including:
Diamond in the beaded clip.
Semi-precious gem in the step button (many gems available).
Name
engraved on wooden pen boxes.
Name
engraved on the ID clip.
Ellen's pens are sold with a certificate of authenticity and have
the Australian kangaroo swing ticket with the words "Product
of Australia". They are designed in Australia and made in
Australia.
