Workshops at the Goldsmith's Gallery are a lot of fun, as Bronwyn's students will attest (see below for the May group). Shown here are the projects worked on by students in the beginner's workshop: sterling silver earrings, ring and bangle. Each student makes their own version of these fabulous pieces that use various basic techniques of silversmithing, for example, annealing, sawing, soldering, forming, hammering, twisting and polishing. The skills learned in this class are the building blocks of all silver- and goldsmithing work.
